Lord, where do I even start. Once my now husband and I got over the heartbreak of cancelling our 200+ Monterey wedding, I did not have high expectations of what we could pull together in 2 months in a pandemic. But, we both knew that playing the rescheduling game wasn’t for us so we decided to move forward with an immediate family only elopement. My biggest concern in making the switch was that I didn’t want the day to feel less special because it was on a smaller scale. I still wanted a wedding, not a pandemic wedding. Finding our jaw-dropping VRBO estate where our families could be together and host our elopement was the easy part. For navigating everything else, thank GOD for Lauren and her impeccable taste which makes her a master in the craft of event curation! Quickly I felt overwhelmed with options from chargers, to silverware, to florals, to dinner courses, to menus, to linens, to basically everything that an elopement requires a bride to do on her own. Lauren handled everything and the result was pure perfection- oh, and she did it all VIRTUALLY. I try to think back as to what my larger wedding would have been like and I’m sure it would have been everything I dreamed of, but I can say with certainty that this option was better and what Lauren pulled together was beyond my wildest dreams. I look back at the pictures and the colors and the impeccable execution and I can’t help but smile. Thank you a million times to Lauren and her team for making our wedding the love-filled, stress free & drop dead gorgeous event it was. And for any brides on the fence about using ELC SOCIAL, I assure you will not be sorry!
